Surveillance drones or unmanned aerial systems (UASs) raise significant issues for privacy and civil liberties. Kovar will discuss drones and their impact on privacy and civil liberties. The panel will specifically focus on Chinese drone manufacturer DJI and will create an opportunity for privacy and policy professionals to consider the risks and benefits that drone technology can pose to security, privacy, and human rights.
